What is a Juice Cleanse?




Thank you for booking your Cleanse with Titan Juice Cleanses. We hope that this will provide you with a day to pause, give your digestive system a rest, indulge in some me-time and re-set to the healthiest version of yourself. Booking a regular Cleanse can become an essential part of your toolkit for optimum wellbeing. It is so important that you prepare well for your Cleanse. Follow the guidelines below for as many days as possible before and after starting your Cleanse, and as an absolute minimum follow them on the day before you start. Preparation is key, so make it a priority and start planning now.


• At least one mixed green side salad per day • Lots of steamed veggies • Fresh fruit (but not more than three servings per day) • At least 1.5 liters of filtered water per day • A mug of warm water and freshly squeezed lemon juice first thing in the morning • A variety of herbal teas e.g. Anise, chamomile, Lemongrass, Ginger etc.

In addition to the juices there are a number of other simple things that you can do to help give your body a detoxifying boost: • Start the day with a mug of hot water with a slice of lemon or ginger in it. • Avoid strenuous exercise, instead do some gentle yoga.

The most important thing to remember about eating after your Cleanse is to try to transition gradually. So don’t go straight from a 100% juice diet to steak or pizza – your body won’t thank you for it! Ideally make the first day following your Cleanse one that is packed full of fresh fruit and vegetables, salads, soups and smoothies - all of which are easy on your digestion.

The aim of your Cleanse has been to give your digestive system a break, but also to release your mind from your normal pattern of eating and any habitual snacking or eating of stimulant foods that can seem irresistible. So make it a priority to use this as a springboard for getting back into a healthier daily diet. If you do this now then good foods will soon form your new habits. If you feel yourself slipping at any point, book another Cleanse for a quick re-set!

We suggest that cleanses are done regularly and that you incorporate them into a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Yes, even a one day juice fast can be a great boost for your body; but to really benefit it has to become part of your health maintenance. We think 3-4 cleanses per year, with each change of seasons, is a nice frequency with which to cleanse. Pop in a One Day Cleanse every month or so and you’ll be doing brilliantly. Don’t forget the saying ‘your health is your wealth’. Take care of yourself now and it will pay dividends in the future. To properly break a juice fast it is important to keep meals very light and mostly raw for the first day.
